It’s been a while since I made a post, but here it is. The intention of this post is to clear out any misleading notions of dropshipping and hopefully maybe even give you a idea what and how to succeed in dropshipping.
From what I’ve been seeing in all my years being around the dropshipping arena, I’ve seen countless of ads that tell you that you can get rich from dropshipping quick and easy! Not saying that that’s not true, but it’s really portrayed in a misleading manner. I say that because majority of people that succeed in dropshipping have put their share of effort into it and spent quite some time on it just like any online business.
Getting back to the main topic “Persistence a Key to Success”. Why is persistence so important?
First of all, when your dropshipping you are an online business and most likely you have a website and also a domain name. You can not expect to get a huge consistence amount of traffic right off the bat when you start your website. Well, for the most part at least. Most inexperience dropshippers don’t realize this and just live in their own fantasy world where traffic is suppose to just come out of no where.
Unless your going to spend big money on advertising with stuff like Adwords you are not going to get any sort of large instant traffic. Why is persistence so important for dropshipping or for any website so to speak? Because of SEO(Search Engine Optimization). The best way to get your website out there in the long-run. Not only do you get better Search Engine Ranking the older your website/domain is, but you also build up loyal customers as time goes on.
Basically what I’m saying is if your not having success right away, don’t be too worried because it’s usually like that. Instead keep working on your site to make it better and continue to market it with any creative ideas you got. Not to say that sometimes it is right to call it quits, but some people just quit a bit too early.
